 The term Adaptogen is used in herbal medicine to describe herbs that help the body to adapt to and cope with physical, environmental and emotional stressors. These herbs are commonly taken during times of prolonged stress to increase energy, fortify the body and balance the nervous system. This tea is recommended in times of increased stress, overwhelm, low mood and sleeplessness. 

HOLY BASIL Ocimum tenuiflorum

Also known as tulsi is an adaptogen and nervous system tonic.

LAVENDER FLOWERS Lavandula angustifolia

Are calming to the nervous system and are known to aid sleep. 

LICORICE ROOT Glycyrrhiza glabra 

Is an adrenal tonic and anti-inflammatory traditionally used to soothe the digestive and respiratory systems.

BACOPA Bacopa monnieri

Is an adaptogen traditionally used to enhance cognitive function, memory and focus.

LIME BLOSSOM Tilia cordata 

Is a soothing herb known to calm the mind. Also useful to ease symptoms associated with the common cold.

Directions Infuse 2 teaspoons of your herbal tea in freshly boiled water for 5 minutes or longer. Drink 1 to 3 cups daily.
